Hey everyone. i need your opinion and help with something.

First - do you think my art is good enough for commissions? i need your honest opinion.

Reason - i am trying my best to try to apply for an animation school and of course to do so, one needs some form of finance.
I recently left school and i've been home very often if not everyday since and i'm not working. so i've been depending on my parents (mostly my mom anyway) when it comes to financial aid for my daily needs. i'm not a big spender so it wouldnt be much of a bother, but still.
So i need to know what you guys think.

Second - if i do manage to be able to do commissions, how am i suppose to sell my work online. i have always been skeptical about money via the internet, so i need someone to clarify the process of doing commissions on DA. plzzzz


My relatives on my mother's side are doing everything they can to help me find and apply for a school and i want to make them proud. but... i dont want to end up being accepted at a school where i'm most like being entered as an international student with the guilt that ALL the money put in to make it possible for me was by my mom and my relatives on her side and i end up failing them. i want to at least put in my bit.

Hope you guys understand where i'm coming from. so as you see, i really need the help.

hey everyone!! i am sooooo in a happy mood right now!

ok. the 'Logos Hope' docked in my island on friday and is there for the week. i went on it today with my mom and lil bro and i found two art books. *squeals*

when i went through the books i almost screamed. in them are ACTUALLY stuff to on how to draw and colour with coloured pencil. i am so happy. my eyes are gonna be glued on those books so i can improve my colouring technique as well as drawing.

ok, now the news.
due to my resent purchase of these books, it's possible i might not be posting some art for a while. those i'm doing art trades with and request for, dont worry, i will still be working on them.

other news. i might not be on often for the rest of the week up to the middle of next week. my country is celebrating one of its cultural celebrations called Jounen Kwéyòl (you guys can look it up if you want) and there are lots of activities going on around this time, and it is one of the celebrations i look forward to every year.
